On my tour of Italy in 2016 I visited Pisa again after more than half a century. The Piazza del Duomo, the area around the Leaning Tower has changed since my last visit in 1963. For instance there are no cars allowed around the Leaning Tower anymore. I stayed in Pisa only one night, in a hotel only about 200 m (660 ft) from the Leaning Tower. In the afternoon I walked through the old town center of Pisa.
