Marski's Cottage
When Finland's Marshall Mannerheim celebrated his 75th birthday on June 4, 1942, his forest fighting soldiers gave him a hunting lodge with a sauna and fisherman's shelter as a birthday present. The lodge was built on the shore of lake Lieksajärvi, and it was reconstructed in Loppi on the shores of lake Puneliajärvi in 1945. The lodge has been available for sightseers since 1959. In the fall of 1991, the field guard-museum SISU was built in this area and consists of two bunkers, crew barracks, soup shelter, observation tower, poker ring, latrine pole, and a doghouse. 1,5-2 h
Trout fishing
Rainbow trout fishing in a little river. Big planted fish and guaranteed catch. An evening meal and other amusement. 2-4 h
Town of Hämeenlinna
Hämeenlinna is the Capital of Häme Region. More detailed information later. 3-4 h
Canoe trip
A short and easy evening canoe trip on Kaartjärvi. 2-2,5 h
Non-flying days
Canoe Trip
Canoe trip on wilderness lakes in the heart of Southern Finland. Canoes, coffee, meal in the nature, sauna, reinbow trout on camp fire. 9-10 h
Luutaharjun samo
An easy trekking (about 7 km) in the wild forests of Häme upland lake area. The path is well kept and guided. Lunch during the trip. 4-5 h

Helsinki is the Capital of Finland. Lunch during the trip. More detailed information later. 5-6 h
Hunting Fair
There will be an International Hunting Fair 6-9.6.1996 at Riihimäki 45 km from Räyskälä. Lunch during the trip. 5-6 h

Accomodation possibilities
Big holiday cottage
For 12-15 persons 3 km from Laakasalo (5 km from Räyskälä). There are several bedrooms, kitchen, WC, shower and sauna in the cottage. You must have your own linen and clean yourself.
The costs 25.5.-16.6.1996 are FIM 28 000,-
Väentupa cottage
Situated at Riihisalo Manor for 14 persons (7 km from Räyskälä. There is three bedrooms and kitchen in the cottage. WC and shower in other building (4-5 m). We change linen once a week. There are and sauna, smoke sauna, tennis court, swimming beach e.t.c. in the manor area.
The costs 25.5.-16.6.1996 are FIM 20 000,-
Vähävesi Farm cottages at Karkkila
There is cottage for 2 persons, cottage for 4 persons and cottage for 6 persons at Vähävesi Farm. All cottages has kitchen and there is WC, shower and sauna in the farm area. You must have your own linen and clean yourself. The cottage is 40 km from Räyskälä.
The costs 25.5.-16.6.1996 are FIM 19 000,-

Rooms
There is 17 double rooms in Laakasalo. 15 rooms have WC and shower, TV and telephone. Two rooms have a shared WC and shower.
Cottages
Laakasalo has three log cottages for 5-6 persons. Everyone has two bedrooms, WC, shower, kitchen, sauna, TV, telephone. Hämeen Matkailu Tourist office has booked all Laakasalo rooms and cottages, so you must ask cottages from there.
